Infinite Patience

Those who are in "search "  will need infinite patience. Patience is the greatest religious quality; if you have patience nothing else is needed. Patience is enough, unto itself. Patience means hope, trust, & without any hurry. An impatient person simply shows that he is not trustful, he is not fully committed to his life. Impatience means, "My will is greater than your will". On the other hand, Patience is, " I surrender my will to your will". Let you be my will, so whenever I am ripe, whenever - if it takes an eternity it is okay- I will trust, I will hope. I will not be disheartened. Speed is one of the great diseases of modern man because it has made impossible many things that can happen only in patience. Love grows in patience, but we are so speedy, only divorce can grow out of it. With our speed, love is non-existential. It needs patience. Our mind is constantly hijacking us from the present moment- either into the past or into the future, but i

Anger

Today, I want to start this blog post with a question What do we understand by the phrase  "I feel Angry" What is this feeling of Anger? We as an individual do not understand that anger has the temporary strength and vitality of the isolated. There is strange despair in anger; for isolation is despair. The anger of disappointment, of jealousy, of the urge to wound, gives violent release whose pleasure is self-justification. We condemn others, and that very condemnation is a justification of ourselves. Mentally we are highly developed, inwardly there is little substance or significance; and it is this inward substance that brings about true action, which is not acting according to an idea. That is why we should have very strong feelings- feelings of passion, anger - and watch them, play with them, find out the truth of them; for if you merely suppress them, if you say, " I must not get angry, I must not feel passionate, because it is wrong", you will find that your

Effortless

Living in this world, not in a monastery, not in an ivory tower, not in some region of isolation, but living in this world carrying on with our daily activities, is it possible to live without effort? Effort implies will. Will is the outcome of contradiction . Unless we understand this whole question of desire, not suppress it, not deny it or transcend it, or try to control it and drive it in a certain direction, it will not be possible to solve our problems totally.  Every human being is trying to put their best effort to accomplish  something big in their life. But on contrary, we have consigned to oblivion that nothing is more important in this life to observe your life effortlessly. The whole paradigm shift is stating that all major activities happening to a person having no efforts at all. Blood running into our bodies, food getting digested, our senses are working effortlessly, we are breathing in and out very naturally and without any effort. If we just close our eyes and do no

It's Beautiful To Be Alone....

To be alone does not mean to be lonely. It means the mind is not influenced and contaminated by society. It is very difficult to find someone who really wants to be lonely or to be with oneself. In today's world, what a strange thing is loneliness, and how frightening it is! We never allow ourselves to get too close to it, and if by chance we do we swiftly run away from it. Loneliness is the awareness of complete isolation, and are not our activities self-enclosing? Though our thoughts and emotions are expansive, are they not exclusive and dividing? Are we not seeking dominance in our relationships, in our rights and possessions, thereby creating resistance? Do we not regard work as "yours" & "mine"? The very activity of the self, at whatever level, is the consciousness of the self without activity. Aloneness is indivisible and loneliness is separation. That which is alone is pliable and so enduring. Only the alone can commune with that which is causeless,

The Roots Of Suffering

We are continuously contradicting ourselves, each moment. The action goes in one direction, the thinking goes in another, feelings are somewhere else. We go on falling apart, we become more and more fragmented. That's why misery is - we lose integration, we lose unity. We have become absolutely centerless, just a periphery. And naturally, a life that is not harmonious is going to be miserable, tragic, a burden to be carried somehow,  suffering . At the most one can make this suffering less painful. And there are thousand and one kinds of painkillers available. It is not only drugs and alcohol~ but the so-called religion has also functioned as opium. It drugs people. And naturally, all the religions are against drugs, because they themselves deal in the same market; they are against the competitors. If people take opium, they may not be religious; there may be no need for them to be religious. They have found their opium, why should they bother about religion? And opium is cheaper,

Awareness

One of the most important things to be understood about man is that man is asleep. Even while he is awake, he is not. His wakefulness is so tiny it doesn't matter at all. His wakefulness is only a beautiful name but utterly empty. The first thing to sink deep in your heart is that you are asleep, utterly asleep. You are dreaming day in, day out. You are dreaming sometimes with open eyes and sometimes with closed eyes, but you are dreaming - you are a dream. You are not yet a reality. All the teachings of Buddhas have insisted on only one thing: Awaken! Continuously, for centuries, Be awake. And there has been devising methods, strategies; which has been creating contexts and spaces and energy fields in which you can be shocked into awareness Yes, unless you are shocked, shaken to your very foundations, you will not awaken.  Awakens  and the noisy mind is the space in which one remains asleep. If your mind continues chattering, you are asleep. Sitting silently, if the mind disappea
